How to remove vocals from a song on iPhone
There is no need for a dedicated iOS app. VocalSplit runs in mobile Safari and handles the whole workflow — upload, pay, download — without leaving the browser.
iOS will save the downloaded stems to the Files app. From there you can drag them into GarageBand, Ferrite, Logic Remote or any audio tool that accepts WAV.
Step-by-step
- Open vocalsplit.io in Safari. Works on any iPhone running iOS 14 or later.
- Tap the upload area and pick an audio file. Files can come from your Files app, iCloud Drive, iMessage attachments or Voice Memos exports.
- Pay with Apple Pay. Stripe Apple Pay is enabled at checkout — one tap and you are processing.
- Wait about 15 seconds. The page stays open on your phone; separation happens on our servers, not your device.
- Download the stems to Files. Tap the download button — the zip saves to the Files app, where you can open it and drop the WAVs anywhere you need them.
Tips for better results
- For Voice Memos, share the memo to Files first, then upload the M4A from there.
- GarageBand on iPhone imports WAV directly and plays both stems on separate tracks.
- If Safari's downloads are disabled, check Settings then Safari then Downloads.
