How to remove vocals from a song on Android

On Android, vocalsplit.io runs entirely in the browser. No apps, no in-app purchases, no Play Store permissions — just a regular webpage that happens to do GPU-accelerated vocal separation.

Stems download as a zip into your Downloads folder. Most Android file managers let you unzip in place and play the WAV files directly.

Step-by-step

  1. Open vocalsplit.io in Chrome. Works on any Android 10 or later with Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
  2. Upload an audio file. From Files, Google Drive, Downloads, or any app that can share an audio file to Chrome.
  3. Pay with Google Pay. Stripe Google Pay is enabled — tap through in a few seconds without typing a card number.
  4. Wait for the split. About 15 seconds for MP3, 20–30 for lossless formats.
  5. Download the stems. The zip lands in your Downloads folder. Unzip and open the WAV files in your preferred audio app.
