Terms of Service | VocalSplit

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of VocalSplit ("we," "our," or "us") at vocalsplit.io. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. The Service

VocalSplit provides AI-powered audio source separation. You upload an audio file, and our service produces separate stems (vocals and instrumentals). The service is provided on a pay-per-split basis — there are no subscriptions.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to purchase credits and use the service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use VocalSplit.

You agree not to share your account with others or use another person's account without permission.

3. Credits and Billing

      No subscriptions. No expiry. Credits are purchased once and never expire. Each split costs one credit. You are only charged when you buy credits — not on a recurring basis.
    

Credits are purchased through Stripe and are denominated in USD. All prices are displayed before purchase. We reserve the right to change credit prices for future purchases, but existing credits are unaffected.

Credits are non-transferable and tied to your account.

4. Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with VocalSplit. Our refund policy is straightforward:

Unused credits are refundable. If you have purchased credits and have not used them, you may request a full refund for those unused credits within 30 days of purchase.
Used splits are non-refundable. Credits consumed to run a separation job are not refundable, regardless of whether you were satisfied with the output quality.
Technical failures. If a split fails due to a confirmed error on our end, the credit will be returned to your account automatically. If this does not happen, contact us at support@vocalsplit.io.

To request a refund for unused credits, email support@vocalsplit.io from your account email address.

5. Acceptable Use and Content Rights

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to upload and process any audio content you submit to VocalSplit.

You must not upload content that:

Infringes the copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party
Contains material that is unlawful, harmful, or violates any applicable law
You do not have the right to process or distribute

We do not claim ownership over any audio you upload or the output files you receive. You retain all rights you had in your original content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe are being used to infringe third-party rights or violate these Terms.

6. File Storage and Deletion

      Uploaded audio files and processed output files are automatically deleted within 24 hours. Download your results before then. We are not responsible for files you fail to download within this window.
    

We do not archive, back up, or make copies of your audio files beyond what is necessary to complete the processing job.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep VocalSplit available at all times, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience downtime. We will not be liable for any losses caused by service interruptions.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

VocalSplit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that results will be accurate or of any particular quality, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

AI-based audio separation produces results that vary by source material. Output quality is not guaranteed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VocalSplit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to VocalSplit in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Intellectual Property

The VocalSplit name, logo, website design, and underlying technology are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the VocalSplit platform without our written permission.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
