How to remove vocals from a SoundCloud track
SoundCloud is where a lot of independent music lives, and artists often enable direct downloads on their own tracks. If you have download permission, VocalSplit turns that MP3 into clean vocal and instrumental stems in about 15 seconds.
Only process SoundCloud tracks you have permission to download — either your own uploads, or tracks where the artist has explicitly enabled downloads.
Step-by-step
- Download the track from SoundCloud. If the artist has enabled downloads, there will be a download button under the waveform. Click it to save the MP3.

Tips for better results
- For your own SoundCloud uploads, use the original master from your DAW instead — it is higher quality.
- SoundCloud Go+ streams are higher bitrate but not directly downloadable without the platform's tools.
- Expect the separator to perform better on well-mastered tracks than lo-fi bedroom recordings.
